![]() ![]() ![]() If she does not remember I will research what it can be or call the # if on the bill. If I do not recognize a charge and I do not have a receipt, then I ask my wife and search her car for receipts. I keep all of my receipts and match them to the bill when it comes in and then I staple the receipts to the bill when I pay the bill. He keeps an eye on his CC charges (a bit too close for me and I consider myself anal about CC charges) and flag anything suspicious that is an actual charge that he KNOWS he did not process. Not sure how a CC company would even be able to research a pending charge that had dropped off - they are not going to have magical insight as to what happened. Not only that but the 'charge' in question did not lead to a actual charge and could be as simple as a miss entered CC # from someone with a very similar #. Had to research why I had international fee on my CC. Heck - first time I got some stuff for World of Warships game I did not know they were international. Other times a pending charge has been on when I back out of an order at the last second - after the ordering system has checked the CC # but the pending charge drops after a day or so. Or my wife orders something and she just does not remember. There are times when things are ordered thru websites where the processing/billing company is different. If that was the case I would be calling every month. ![]()
